He Whom You Love Is Sick

On Sunday 26th February 2023, we enjoyed ourselves in the presence of The Lord. We enjoyed contemporary praise, the fellowship and atmosphere of the saints along with an undiluted Word given onto us from our Serving Senior Pastor: Apostle John Enumah. The programme was themed: The Last Hour God!




A powerful message titled: He Whom You Love Is Sick.

The scriptural text we were given is: John 11:1-7:


'Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.


(It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.)



Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.


When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.


Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus.


When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was.


Then after that saith he to his disciples, Let us go into Judaea again.'




FAITH was a keyword in Sunday's teachings. Apostle explained to us that many people expect for the celestial beings to move and operate on their matters the moment they pray, but actually without FAITH that God indeed knows you by your name according to Isaiah 43:1: 'But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.' Not only does the Lord know you by name, but God is particular about you and know what you are going through.



Here are some prayer points for you to pray at home with:


  • Heavenly Father, as I begin to pray, I thank you Lord for Your words in the right season that encourages me to keep going through the journey and the process I am walking through, thank You for building my faith and my perseverance for the path I am walking in Jesus' name!


  • Heavenly Father, as I begin to pray, I seek tangible evidence of Your presence in the midst of all my chaos, in the midst of all the trouble, evidence that would keep my faith strong in you, evidence that would renew my hope in You. I need a manifestation of Your power in this situation, show forth Your power, reveal Yourself in this matter, show me that You have called me forth this way in Jesus' name!


  • Heavenly Father, as I begin to pray, I pray for renew strength to keep going, the strength to not give up or lose hope, the strength to continue to persevere for what You have called me to do in Jesus' name!


  • Heavenly Father, I come to You tonight humbling myself tonight, asking for Your mercy, in any-way I have spoken wrongly about the journey I am walking with You, in any-way I have spoken that does not glorify You, O Lord, have mercy upon me in the name of Jesus!
