EMBRACING GOD'S GREATEST LAW!

HAPPY NEW MONTH Citizens of the Haven. On Sunday 11th February 2024 we gathered for Our LOVE DAY coupled with Bless the Works of my Hands. A prophetic gathering hosted by Our Serving Senior Pastors - Apostle John and First Lady, Prophetess Josephine Enumah partnered with Mr Holy Ghost. We came together ONLINE : @thehavenuk AND PHYSICALLY : Vincent Street, Canning Town, E16 1LZ

FOCUS WORD: EMBRACING GOD'S GREATEST LAW!

Apostle John Enumah started Sunday's message by first asking the saints of GOD, WHAT IS THE GREATEST LAW OF GOD? We learnt that it is not killing or stealing but the greatest law of GOD IS LOVE.

Deuteronomy 28:8 - "The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee."

The scripture teaches us that the very fibre of GOD'S kingdom constitution to us as believers is the LOVE of GOD. In this modern day, the interpretation of GOD'S definition of LOVE has been taken out of GODLY context that is why we are witnessing human contest.

Apostle John Enumah explained on this LOVE DAY what is LOVE. Expressing that LOVE is NOUN and a VERB.

NOUN - A name of a PLACE, PERSON or THING

VERB - An ACTION word !

1 John 4:8 - "He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love." We have a clear understanding that LOVE is a NOUN.

John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Thus Bible verse helps us understand how LOVE is a VERB. God gave so that we as believers would learn the concept of giving with no limitation - enabling someone else to live.

In enabling someone else to live, God will surely bless the works of your hands. These blessings do not necessarily mean financial blessings.

Luke 16:22-25 - "And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. " Tells us about the story of the rich man and Lazarus, when Lazarus died he was carried to heaven in Abraham bosom but when the rich man died he was taken to hell, this revelation teachings of Apostle John Enumah through the aid of the Holy Spirit further taught us that God blessed the hands of the rich man on earth which he enjoyed his life and Lazarus on the reverse suffered on earth eating scrums from his table, this rich man didn't know he was eating the blessings God had given him for the poor which caused him to curse himself. We learnt we should never eat what God has bless our hands with, this is to give to the poor as this can bring an eternal curse on ones life.

Matthew 25: 35- 40 - "For I was hungry, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, In as much as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."

Asking God to bless our hands in this season is not for self gain but to be the husband to the widow, the father to the fatherless, and helping those in need. God blesses the works of our hands so the poor can eat. The works of our hands will not be blessed if we do not understand the love of God, as when we understand the love of God we will understand that we can never have enough.

Acts 20:35 - "I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive."
