Sunday's Focus Word:
'THE WALKING GRACE OF GOD FOR SETTLEMENT!'
With the scriptural text for the month of May: 1 Peter 5:10-11:
"But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen."
Apostle taught us about 3 types of grace:
The Grace of Man
The Grace of Angels
The Grace of God
We however learned that the Grace of God surpasses all Grace.
We learned that angels cannot leave heaven without a charge or assignment from God as anything beyond the assignment, grace is not available and therefore movement from their own will and NOT of The Father!
John 5:1-9 "For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had."
We know that the angel came to the pool of Bethesda once a year to stir the water for healing purposes.
Angels grace can be limited :
If they leave heaven without a charge - Jude 1:6
They can be imprisoned- Daniel 10:13
When the grace of God works for You, the following happens:
Calls would be made on your behalf
You'll have no point to prove to anyone
Access to all possibilities
Grace would perform what it desires to see on your behalf
Here are some prayers to engage with in this month of Overflowing Grace:
Heavenly Father, as I begin to pray, Oh Lord, I receive a testimony of all-round settlement, in the name of Jesus!
Heavenly Father, as I begin to pray, Oh Lord, Your overflowing grace will work for me immensely for the remainder of May, in the name of Jesus!
Heavenly Father, as I begin to pray, Oh Lord, thank You for the Word that You have released and the revelation of Your Word You have given to us, in the name of Jesus!
Heavenly Father, as I begin to pray, Oh Lord, let Your overflowing grace address my situation, in the name of Jesus!
Heavenly Father, as I begin to pray, Oh Lord, where the grace of men have become limited, Father send Your grace my way, in the name of Jesus!
Heavenly Father, as I begin to pray, Oh Lord, I refuse to put my trust in the capacity of angels, but in You in the name of Jesus!
