How Shall This Be?

Updated: Mar 7, 2023

On Sunday 19th February 2023, we had a swell time in the presence of the Lord @thehavenuk for our Prophetic Sunday Gathering, themed: BREAKING LIMITS!

Our Serving Senior Pastor: Apostle John Enumah

gave us Luke 1:26-35 as the scriptural text for the teaching titled: How Shall This Be?

'And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth.

To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.

And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.

And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.

He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?

And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.'

Apostle blessed us a couple of practical points on How to Break Limits...

1. "Never pluralise what God has singlehandedly given you."

Apostle explained that when God has spoken, it is important to run with His Word and trust that He will see you through.

2. "Come out of your comfort zone!"

In order to BREAK LIMITS, the place of ease, slack and relaxation would not birth what which is required, but a place of being uncomfortable enough to make a change! Apostle John Enumah describes the comfort zone as: "That place which you are comfortable with your last achievement!" Where do you find yourself today?

3. "Know that it is okay to ask for help!"

This is the final point when desiring to BREAK LIMITS because "no man is an island" and "if you do not ask for help in life, you will remain helpless" as it takes somebody that God has sent to pull you out of the mud! However, we must not the following point as it is crucial. "Know that begging is different to asking for help!"
