THE GOD OF ISRAEL

On Sunday 23rd April 2023, we experienced yet another powerful teaching and the move of the Holy Ghost in our Prophetic Sunday Gathering in continuation of the theme: The Prayers of Jabez.

FOCUS WORD: THE GOD OF ISRAEL


With the same scriptural text from last weeks gathering : 1 Chronicles 4:10:


"And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested."


Apostle taught us that Israel is not a place but an encounter with God that comes upon you and manifests God's intention wherever you are. Alongside Jabez, Jacob too also had this encounter where he wrestled with God and prevailed.

"And he said ,Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel for thou hast wrestled with God and with men and prevailed."Genesis 32:28


Hannah encountered 'THE GOD OF ISRAEL' when Priest Eli interjected and prayed over her although Hannah needed a prophet and a vow for her petitions to be answered speedily, she then had her encounter. “Not so, my lord,” Hannah replied, “I am a woman who is deeply troubled. I have not been drinking wine or beer; I was pouring out my soul to the LORD. Do not take your servant for a wicked woman; I have been praying here out of my great anguish and grief.”

Eli answered, “Go in peace, and may the God of Israel grant you what you have asked of him.” 1 Samuel 1:9 -17

Heavenly Father, as I begin to pray, Oh God of Israel, I refuse to be like the pain, the failure and the shame of my generation, in the name of Jesus!


Heavenly Father, Oh God of Israel, as I begin to pray, I live victoriously in prayer, let my life begin to manifest the evidence of victory, in the name of Jesus!
