Defeating the Champion of Gath

ree

On Sunday 12th March 2023, The Citizens of The Haven and those who had attended our Prophetic, Healing, and Deliverance gathering were empowered by the praise impact, and deep worship as we reverence Our King of Kings. An undiluted Word was released from our Serving Senior Pastor: Apostle John Enumah. It was our: ‘Defeating the Champion of Gath’ program.

An insightful Word titled: Defeating the Champion of Gath

The scriptural text we were given is: 1 Samuel 17: 2 - 7

[2] “And Saul and the men of Israel were gathered together, and pitched by the valley of Elah, and set the battle in array against the Philistines.”

[3] And the Philistines stood on a mountain on the one side, and Israel stood on a mountain on the other side: and there was a valley between them.

[4] And there went out a champion out of the camp of the Philistines, named GOLIATH OF GATH, whose height was six cubits and a span.

[5] And he had a helmet of brass upon his head, and he was armed with a coat of mail, and, an the weight of the coat was five thousand shekels of brass.

[6] And he had greaves of brass upon his legs, and a target of brass between his shoulders.

[7] “And the staff of his spear was like a weaver's beam; and his spear's head weighed six hundred shekels of iron: and one bearing a shield went before him.”

Apostle opened our eyes to deep insight about, Samson and David , we understood that Samson was a victor when he slaughtered the Lords from Philistine but when the opportunity came to redeem himself after Delilah's betrayal he prayed to die ( Judges 16:30 ) when he the power to kill his enemy but David was more than a conqueror when he took the opportunity to defeat the Champion of Garth publicly (1 Samuel 17:32 ). David battles were won in the wilderness but God prospers David by putting him in the middle of a problem, giving him public glory.
